Midterm Election Livestream: Tonight at 8pm Eastern with Democracy-Ish
We have arrived at the time of reckoning. The 2022 Midterms are here. I hope you are planning on voting and, if so, please be careful and don’t let anybody intimidate you. If they do, remove yourself from the situation and report them immediately. Democracy is a precious thing. I think now, more than ever, we realize that.
Tonight The Muckrake Podcast will be teaming up with Democracy-Ish to air exclusive Election Night coverage starting at 8pm eastern. We’ll be going late going over the results, the coverage, and discussing what our very near future may look like.
Honestly, I want to thank you. Things like this wouldn’t be possible without your support. This site and The Muckrake are growing because of you and I am just so, so grateful.
I’ll have an article up tomorrow reacting to the results and then this Sunday, at 8pm Eastern, I’m planning on a long Bourbon Talk over on my YouTube channel. I’m guessing we’ll need some time to commisserate and process.
There’s a very good chance today will be a tough day. Remember that elections are not endings, but beginnings, and that voting only constitutes the minimal level of democratic engagement.
We are going to win this fight.
It is going to be hard and tragic and god knows what it will amount to.
But we will win. And we will make a better future.
