Don't be surprised if Trump gives him a posthumous Medal of Freedom or some equally bullshit award (for Cheney, not the award itself) he doesn't deserve.
Thomas Hobbes said, in “Leviathan” that the life of man without good government would be “Solitary, poor, nasty, brutish, and short.” Cheney fits the bill, except he wasn’t poor. He was on my short list for “Nastiest American Ever,” until Trump retired the trophy (I think it’s in the Oval Office somewhere…) He’s a red thread running through all the disastrous Republican Administrations of our times.
Agreed. There is a YouTube video of a Cheney interview years pre Iraq war, where he lists all the reasons it would be bad to invade Iraq. I hate him too and won’t put Liz or Adam K on a pedestal either.
Jared, not to be a grammar teacher nitpick (okay, maybe I might have BEEN a grammar teacher in my past, here...) but shouldn't it be: "He championed the unitary executive"?

Not likely, maybe investigating Liz as a posthumous “up yours, Dick”?
Let’s see WHO attends his funeral and WHERE they sit😬

Yup! Thanks to that Tricky Dick, we have state terrorism.

I'm helping!
