Along with Jared, I agree — WE MUST ALL quit couching our language choices and the TERMS we stipulate.
We MUST BE BOLD and call for Socialist rebellion/ reform. If we must temporarily couch our platform as “Democratic Socialist” like Mamdani dared to put forth, then so be it.
But I think a mass majority of us in this contiguous blob need to proclaim we want social changes!

whew good episode! i think this is what has been weighing on my mind - clear people with authority were not fighting and pushing back hard enough, if at all (at least in Maryland, i see a bit more); been thinking a lot about just what do i do. i am in the middle of needing to find my own place to live and dreading dealing with landlords on top of life's regular chores; and dealing with this mess?
Jared, it is so discouraging to hear that organizing is not really happening. i see so much in-fighting on social media....
