So, a few days ago I received an email from a subscriber who didn’t know I also hosted The Muckrake Podcast, which, honestly, was a mistake on my part because I hadn’t really advertised it on here. Anyway, I wanted to rectify that, so here is a special crossover episode of The Muckrake in the hopes of introducing listeners over there and readers over here to one another. In this episode, my co-host Nick Hauselman is out of town, so I hold down the desk to discuss the changing paradigm following Iran’s strikes against Israel in retaliation for attacks against Lebanon, the straining U.S./Israel relationship, from there I get into the Trump Administration dismantling one of the crown jewels of American science and the relationship to declining U.S. power, and, finally, I address the developing situation in Maine as we head into primaries and the Democratic Party faces one test after another.
