Why Dispatches From A Collapsing State?
The election of Donald Trump in 2016 made it abundantly clear that something was very, very wrong in the United States of America. Though many want you to believe it was an aberration, and that everything will be fine, Trump was merely a symptom of a much larger disease. We are living in a moment of crisis. Democracy and the fate of the future depend on recognizing the overarching problem, the means by which we arrived here, and how we might answer the moment. Dispatches From A Collapsing State is my attempt to do just that and shine a light on the consequences of hypercapitalism, unchecked corruption, white supremacy, patriarchal dominance, and the rise of authoritarianism that is currently threatening us all.
