Our system is based on protecting property not people. It is property first, people a far second. So in that respect it is working as built. This was something that came to me over time. I test it with each event and it always holds. People cannot believe this because we are so far removed from the founding and women and others think they have protected civil and human rights. Reproductive Rights for women were held up by the duct tape of Roe. Never fully protected and easily done away with because the human right to privacy is always at risk because human rights is not the foundation of our country. More is coming against women and others who have been relying on laws protecting their human rights. My opinion.

America is also a kleptocracy with enormous wealth transfers and increasing wealth imbalance. Read today’s column by David Pepper about the raiding of Ohio’s State Teacher’ Retirement System (STRS). Imagine what a juicy target Social Security $$ looks like to the kleptocrats, who see no useful purpose in keeping American Democracy alive.

I think Sarah is a little too far-Left in her ideas. To hear her tell it, both parties are exactly the same, which isn't true. At least you concede, Jared, that while the Democrats aren't perfect, they're at least better than Trump and the GOP...albeit marginally. But she doesn't even give them *that* credit.

Has Biden been doing a poor job with how he's handled Israel/Gaza? Yes. But Sarah can't sit there and say he's doing just as badly as Trump would, which was what I inferred. And Trump, if re-elected, would be 10 to 100 times worse. This I think most reasonable people can agree on. And I'm disappointed that Sarah didn't want to seem to acknowledge that.

Trump needs to be kept away from the White House, even if it means, as you've often said, voting for Biden and taking a shower afterwards. But from what I heard today, she doesn't even think Biden would be a viable alternative.

I wish Nick were present at that podcast, because I like how he will sometimes push back or check you on things. And I thought he could have been needed here.
