I love your incisive and clear analysis of what is really going on in these crazy times.
I also treasure what I detected in your writings since I first begin reading your work : a touch of God, I am bold to say - the friend that introduced your work to me also detects this quality/perfume and calls it a breath of fresh air. I have never detected any hint of spirituality in any political commentary which shows how are perceptions about life are completely fragmented , meaning we think that politics have nothing to do with spirituality!
I feel the same towards you, and all the others who are working in whatever way they can while maintaining--nay, nurturing!--their sanity. Or as Ruth BG says, stay lucid. There is so much beauty and kindness in the world, and I am all for doing my best to add to it. Thank you for all you do Jared, and I'm glad everyone is warm and safe at your home. ALSO: I don't see you on Post yet?
Thank you for your message and for all of your posts. I look forward to reading whatever you write, and I have ordered your book that will come out soon. Speaking of the winter storm, the Lakota people on the Pine Ridge Reservation (South Dakota) are desperate for warm blankets and heaters. I just sent them a donation that can be used to buy heaters, wood, etc. Perhaps some of your followers would like to donate, too, on this Christmas Eve. Thanks a million times, Jared for your hard work and the clarity that you bring us. Your optimism while looking at difficult stuff has seeped into my being and I have less despair. I so eagerly await the next installment of the Lecture series. It ties so many things together that were floating loosely and creepily around in my head. Take care, I love hearing anecdotes about your family. Bless Us Everyone!
The feeling is mutual, Jared. Your insightful analysis is refreshing. Your sincere dedication to a better democracy encourages me to stay engaged and not give up. You're building something important with this community and I am glad to be a part of it.
Thank you for your love, passion and courage.
