I feel demoralized about how blatant this is, even though I already knew how fashy Tucker was and you’ve been warning about him for some time. It’s no wonder some people choose to tune the whole thing out and pretend it’s not happening. Sometimes I feel we are trying to pick up the collective slack for everyone else.

I think the sad truth is that this is right. That most people want to ignore it while the people paying attention try and warn them. If it's any consolation, I think we're in very good company that way and keeping an eye on it, speaking out against it, and working against it, are the best possible things.

Thank you @JaredYatesSexton for the excellent and concise summary of these movements. there is such an overload of information, current and historical, that it is nice to have a concise summary like this. A must read for every citizen.

JYS, TY, as always. I’m glad you brought Great Britain into the story. The Northern Europeans were white American supremacist’s benefactors and early teachers. White supremacy has been going on much longer than America. We did it bigger and better, maybe, …but that is a pissing contest we don’t need to get into at the moment.

White male violent domination is something much of the world has suffered under for a very very long time. And Asian males and Middle Eastern males and African males have done much the same thing in their realms of influence. Brute strength and ‘power-over’ has a way of corrupting one’s sense of self. Absolutely.

Now, finally, the rest of us are taking our place at the table, and this male response (in it’s 10,000 different forms) is not the least bit surprising.

What to do about it? This is the question.

Your work, bringing all of this into the light of day, in such a clear, forthright way, is so important. Thank you again.

I live in the most diverse county in GA if not the southeast and have found that not all immigrants of color vote Democrat and neither do they all come here seeking democracy. Republicans don't want poor immigrants coming here because they are perceived to be more likely to identify with the black struggle, but this isn't always the case either. Many come here just to prosper and aren't particularly interested in learning our racist history. They assume that's all in the past and that when Carlson types say that kind of stuff, they're really only talking about those lazy types that they know back home. Surely not themselves, who've earned their money. Unless they're Muslim, most Eastern Europeans I know told me they voted for trump. Makes sense when all you've ever known is authoritarianism. The Koch Network proactively courts immigrants, especially Hispanics, and fills their heads with propaganda about our evil government that only wants to take all their hard earned money and give it to those people who didn't earn it. IMHO, we don't talk about classism enough.
