But we really could keep bumping along like this for some time. A handful of Republicans join the Democrats in voting to raise the debt ceiling, a budget gets passed in the same way with minor alterations from last year's budget, sending the loonies into even greater fits of rage, no great new initiatives get passed but things don't fall apart either. Who knows?

It is untenable & hard to think about some dark possibilities that could leap up in coming months. Onward.

Given the sotu is kayfabe performance art anymore, I honestly thought it was a good performance by Joe. Just an opinion.
