Those waiting on Republicans to come to their senses, discover their consciences, or pivot to some new direction have it all wrong. The GOP has reached the end of its existence as a political party

I worked in GOP politics from 1995-2004. I had to leave them as that’s when things seemed to start going off the rails. When Freedom of opinion began to become more and more looked down upon and during primaries it became a game of “who’s the MOST Republican, Republican, with no room for any sort of difference of opinions I decided group think wasn’t for me and fled. It’s about 100000 times worse now. Only the crazies are left.
