Y'all, I turned off the idiot box and I'm still exhausted. Too much palace intrigue and too many speculative thought exercises around clothes and wigs and "fuck off" rings (pardon my language). I hope Ruben Gallego primaries the fuck out of her (there's that word again) because she definitely won't pull the pin on her Senate career to go make wine for a living. Not when there's so much money and outsized attention thrown her way.
i missed this essay. really resonates with how i have been feeling. just read an article in Washington Post by Jennifer D. Jenkins who was a school board member in FL and faced so much harassment. not sure if this will be a paywall. not directly related to message of this essay but shows how bad our society is and too many still don't see it
