Well, you pretty much summed it up. I have been feeling this way for a long time. The assassination attempt and the Cannon decision were the cherry on top of the cake. That ruling will go up to the Supreme Court, and you know what that result will be. The Chevron decision is also a monster. We are basics dead in the water as a country. And the world as well. I have no idea what happens after that. All I can hope to do is take care of myself and my loved ones and hope for the best. Hopefully, we will be able to keep some of the protections we have been afforded (the social “safety net.”). Not to mention environmental protections, safe roads and on and on. It seem we are headed for a dystopic existence. The MAGA folks who wanted this will soon see what they have done to themselves and us and realize how stupid they are. What suckers they were. Its hard to feel anything but fear and dread. We have been ill-served by the politicians we elected and the pathetic MSM. Its hard to be the least bit sanguine right now.

Jared, I will fight fascism in various peaceful ways before and after November, even if Biden remains the nominee. However, I would love to have you write an article or series of articles on how to survive, resist and keep one's sanity should the MAGA Republican fascists prevail this election. Thanks for all you do.
My regular readings this morning included this, from Anglo-Irish myth-writer and recent orthodox pilgrim Paul Kingsnorth, and opened with two photographic images. The second was of the five US Marines raising the flag on Mt. Suribachi. The first picture was an apparently at-the-moment image of the enraged and bleeding anti-hero being wrestled off the stage by Secret Service personnel, with a giant American flag forming a backdrop. In that picture, the flag is upside down. From a different point of view, Mr. Kingsnorth parallels your observations about what's coming. Thanks for being out there and putting thoughts to paper that we can all relate to. It's important that we can bond together in our feelings and formulate ideas hopefully to make improvements in all of our lives. I for one, have no intention of moving anywhere. That's not realistic and nobody does that anyway! The people I know are ready to fight. I think the vocal l minority is getting us down. We don't realize how much power we actually have. We've got to do like France did and cobble together all of the people who are not fascists and Kool-Aid drinkers. Get out there and fight like hell to sign up voters and get the vote out. Somehow anti project 2025 was gaining momentum and the assassination debacle took the steam out of it. We need to get that back and get 2025 in front of them eyes of the people that are going to suffer. I'm constantly doing Google searches and posting keywords. And if everybody did the same we could get that momentum back
